Reproducibility of TimestampsTo obtain significant timing measurements, they have to be indifferent to the actual load of the machine. In order to check this, the reconstruction of 70 electrons with 20GeV pT and pileup (tape Y01561.1) was run several times on the same shift machine (atlasb03) for different load conditions.
From these numbers and the histogramms it is rather obvious, that the timings introduced in ATRECON are well reproducable, not only concerning the mean values, but also the distributions. The systematic errors are much larger than the statistical variance. |
